Faith Community to Host Showing of Movie Monday, Nov. 25

Organizers of a movement that strives for hope and healing in the wake of suicide are hosting a free screening of a film at 7 p.m., Nov. 25 at Faith Community Church.

The film, “Suicide: The Ripple Effect” is a feature-length documentary that focuses on the effects of suicide and the positive ripples that advocacy, inspiration and hope can provide. These impacts are helping millions heal and stay alive.

The movie shares insight on the journey of Kevin Hines, who at age 19 jumped from the Golden Gate Bridge. He survived, and today he is known as a world-renowned mental health advocate, motivational speaker and author. Hines travels widely spreading a message of hope, recovery and wellness, and invites you to the showing.

Faith Community Church is located at 515 N. 10th St. in O'Neill. Avera St. Anthony's Hospital is among the sponsors of this event.
