Chambers High School Class of 2021 graduated this past weekend. Thirteen graduates walked the floor to receive their diplomas.
This year's graduates are as follows:
Alexis Butterfield is the daughter of Trenton and Tina Butterfield. Alexis plans to attend the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD. She plans to major in medical biology and human dynamics with the goal of becoming a physical therapist. Alexis is minoring in Spanish and is excited to study abroad in the future.
Brooke Marie Ehlers is the daughter of Matt and Heidi Ehlers. Brooke plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln majoring in animal science and occupational therapy with the goal of working in equine therapy where she will use therapy horses to help children.
Ryann Haburchak is the daughter of Robert and Michelle Haburchak. Ryann plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a major in business administration and an emphasis in marketing. Ryann will also complete a minor in Spanish and hopes to study abroad
Tory Halsey is the son of Gary and Tracy Halsey. Tory plans to attend Northeast Community College in Norfolk, majoring in autobody repair technology. In the future, he plans to return to the Chambers area and start his own business.
Kassidy Hoerle is the daughter of Mark and April Dexter and Jared Hoerle. Kassidy plans to attend Chadron State College majoring in biology with the goal of one day becoming a family practice physician.
Emma Jonseth is the daughter of Sheleene Charf. Emma plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln majoring in interior design. She is excited to study abroad in London, Paris or Rome.
Michelle Koenig is the daughter of Don and Lenone Koenig. Michelle plans to attend the University of Nebraska at Kearney majoring in athletic training and nutrition.
Nathaniel Larson is the son of Marty and Larisa Larson. Nathaniel plans to attend the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology where he will major in mechanical engineering.
Tessa Metschke is the daughter of Monte and Kim Metschke. Tessa plans to attend Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte and major in nursing. Tessa will be a member of the Mid-Plains Community College Knights volleyball team.
Nicole Nichols is the daughter of David and Lynn Nichols. Nicole plans to attend Kansas State University majoring in agricultural economics and later attend law school
Karsen Peterson is the son of Jerry and Gerrie Peterson. Karsen plans to be his own boss one day as he leads one of the top pharmaceutical companies in Nebraska. He hopes that one day he can help numerous people who suffer from illnesses.
Logan Sanford is the son of Bryan Sanford and Barb Berlin. He plans to attend the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, majoring in mining engineering.
Mary Walnofer is the daughter of Alvin and Brenda Walnofer. Mary plans to attend Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, where she has been accepted into Northwestern’s Honors Program. Mary will be majoring in elementary education in hopes of becoming a teacher one day. She looks forward to being involved in many mission trips throughout her college career.
