Brush Creek Brewing Company: Starting Thursday, March 19th, we will be going to a carry out / to go basis ONLY. Our hours and days of operation will be changing to the following until further notice: OPEN: Monday-Saturday 5-9pm. CLOSED: Sundays. Cast Iron Bar & Grille: To reduce inventory costs, we will only be offering a smaller set menu. So basically burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads. Sides we will basically have all but baked potatoes, mash, corn and things we have to heat up. This will help us reduce inventory and let us keep more money in checking the account. McNally’s Corner are open from 11AM-2PM and 5PM-9PM right now till we get through this. We had closed our dining room earlier this week but have since decided we will open it to a LIMIT of the PROPOSED 10 patrons at a time. We have a big enough room to keep everybody 6 feet apart. Nebraska Inn in Gross will be cooking fish and ribs on Friday, March 20th. We are offering both curbside pickup in Gross and in town delivery to Spencer, Butte, Bristow and Lynch Nebraska as well as Wagner, SD. Wagner deliveries can be picked up at Casey’s parking lot at 6:00. Home deliveries to Nebraska towns will be made between 6:30 and 7:00. Call the Nebrask Inn, 402-583-9922, by noon on Friday to place you orders for delivery. Curbside orders can be placed anytime Friday. Just let us know what time you will be there for pickup. Also, no prime rib served on Saturday. Doing what we can to keep everyone happy, safe and healthy.

Senior Center

Atkinson Senior Center will begin delivering meal to the home delivery people only on Monday, March 23. Please call 402-340-3577 if you have any questions.

Mitchell Equipment is still doing business, basically as usual, but in an attempt to safeguard our staff and their families, we would like to reduce the direct person to person contact as much as possible. When you need to contact any of our staff please use the phone or other communication technology if at all possible, but we also realize that there are times when it just isn’t practical to do things over the phone. Great Plains State Bank will be closing their lobby effective tomorrow (Friday, March 20). The drive through will remain open Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00. Nebraska State Bank of Bristow and Lynch has closed their lobbies until further notice. Antelope County has made decisions regarding the safety, services, and organization within the County Courthouse. For the safety of the staff and the public, the following changes will be implemented on Thursday, March 19, 2020 until April 7th, 2020 or as deemed necessary by State/CDC Officials:

All walk-in members of the public will be limited to entry into the Courthouse by appointment only.

All customers will be required to call ahead and make an appointment with the specific office where they must conduct business.

All customers requiring services at the Courthouse will be required to enter the Courthouse through the South entrance (double doors). The parking lot will be reserved for visitors.

The County is strongly recommending the use of online services whenever possible.

City of O’Neill will close the O’Neill Community Center and O’Neill Public Library, effective March 23 through April 3. The front doors of the library will be locked but you are still able to call with a question or book request. You may still call closed facilities during regular business hours to speak with available staff at the O’Neill City Office and O’Neill Police Department. Each controlled access facility has a sign at the door. Visitors must call the phone number on the sign and be pre-screened prior to entry. These may be subject to change.

O’Neill Assembly of God and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church have established a COMMUNITY HELP LINE for individuals to call if they are in need of help with grocery delivery, prescription pick-up and delivery or even picking up a carryout order at a local restaurant. We especially encourage those who are considered at a high risk of contracting the coronavirus, to reach out to us for assistance with these or similar errands. Anyone willing and able to participate in running these errands for individuals or have other ideas of how to help may also call this number. Please call 402-336-8868 at any time.

Spencer Township Library will no longer be open to the public, until further notice. Books can be checked out by sending an email to spnlib@nntc.net containing your name and a list of the books or authors you would like to read. You can also call the library at 589-1131 during normal hours and give your list to the librarian. The books will be checked out to you for the period of 4 weeks and left in a bag in the entryway for you. Books may be returned by placing them in a plastic bag and dropped in the book return slot. The Library is open Mon, Wed, Fri from 1:30-5:00 pm.

Atkinson Family Dental is seeing patients for Dental Emergencies only through April 1st.

Avera St. Anthony’s Hospital and Avera Medical Group O’Neill Clinic will screen all staff, patients, visitors and anyone else who is visiting the facility.Symptom screening, along with a temperature check, will take place as an ongoing effort to reduce the spread of coronavirus. This new step adds to other restrictions already in place, which include: Visitors are limited to immediate family only with one visitor allowed per patient; Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 who seeks care should call 402-336-2900 before they come to the clinic or hospital. If you have a cough, a fever more than 100 degrees or trouble breathing, or had exposure to someone with COVID-19, call prior to visiting the clinic or hospital; Anyone who does not need to visit the facility is asked to refrain for visiting. The public is reminded that the Avera Farm and Rural Stress Hotline at 800-691-4336 is available for those who wish to talk to a skilled mental health professional. The calls are free, confidential and available 24/7.

Bright Horizons will be altering our services slightly. Beginning Monday March 23, we will no longer have our lobby open to drop ins and ask that our clients call to speak to an advocate or to set up an appointment. We will not be facilitating our support groups until it is recommended that you can have groups of more than 10 people meeting. We will also not be accepting donations during the next few weeks. Gutshall & Kohle Eyecare has moved to an urgent/emergent exam model. We are not scheduling routine eye exams at this time. There will be one doctor available daily for any medical concerns that may arise. Ketteler EyeCare, on recommendation from the CDC for Eye Care professionals, will be postponing routine eye exams, our doors are effectively closed. Urgent care only will be addressed. Schools Distributing Meals to Students

O’Neill Public Schools announces that the school will be distributing meals on Monday there will be 2 breakfast and 2 lunches per child and Wednesday 3 breakfast and 3 lunches per child. Also backpack meals will be available on Wednesday to use on the weekend. Meals may be picked up at the Elementary main entrance between 7:30 am -10:30 am on Mondays and Wednesdays. Meals will be bagged and available in the lunch area. Meals are available for any student and any child ages 1-18 and any students enrolled in the schools 21 Program. St. Mary’s Students or any child in O’Neill between 1-18 is allowed. Meals are all free.

West Holt Public School – Effective March 20, 2020 Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, until school resumes, we will provide breakfast and lunch to children free of charge. Those wishing to participate will need to come to the east entrance by the cafeteria (Door D) and a kitchen or school staff member will be there to assist you. Please arrive between the hours of 11am and 12:30pm. A breakfast and lunch will be provided for all children in your home from age 1-18 if that is what you wish. You will be asked to provide the names of children who will be receiving the meals and a staff member will keep a list. On Monday and Wednesday, participants will receive a breakfast and lunch for that day, as well as a breakfast and lunch for the following day. On Friday, participants will only receive breakfast and lunch for that day. The meals will be separated out and may include instructions for preparing/heating the meal if needed. There is no need to contact the school or to “put an order in”. You will simply need to come to school. This program is available to all children, not just those who qualify with free or reduced status. All children should feel free to participate. If there are children who will be at home with no source of transportation who may need meals delivered, please contact the school and we will make arrangements to have food delivered in some fashion to a location. There is no charge for the meals. This is part of the federal lunch program and the school will be reimbursed for all meals. The cost is not being absorbed by the school district, but is part of a federal program
