Beginnings Pregnancy Resource Center in O’Neill has expanded its services to include testing and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases (STD).
Additional services offered at the center include lab quality pregnancy tests, obstetric ultrasounds, pregnancy decision coaching, sexual risk avoidance education, men’s support services, post abortion support, pregnancy and parenting training and a baby supply store.
All of these services are free and confidential. Anyone who is interested in one or more of these services is encouraged to call 402-336-4343 to schedule an appointment during office hours which are: 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Mondays, 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, 1-5 p.m. Wednesdays and 9 a.m. to noon Thursdays.
Walk-ins also are welcome. The center is located at 203 W. Douglas St. in O’Neill. More information also can be found online at beginningspregnancycenter.com.
Funding for Beginnings is provided by generous donors in north central Nebraska as well as a development banquet.
Beginnings will hold its third annual banquet Sunday, Oct. 13 at O’Neill Community Center. The keynote speaker will be Toneia Mayes, the center’s Care-Net consultant. A beef tenderloin dinner will be catered by K-5 Catering.
A raffle will be held for a Ruger Predator rifle with scope, a Yeti cooler filled with $400 worth of beef, a $400 gift certificate at Wettlaufer’s Garden Center in Atkinson, a women’s care package and four Husker volleyball tickets.
