O’Neill Public High School band members Christopher Jennings and Kolby Dean traveled to Wayne on Jan. 27 to rehearse and perform in the Wayne State College Festival Of Honor Bands.

They both played trombone in the Symphonic Band directed by WSC Percussion Instructor Brad Weber. Dean was selected as second chair and Jennings was third. They rehearsed all day with a late afternoon concert. Students from 70 schools and three states were represented in the annual event.

“It was fun to see these two talented musicians have continued success at this honor band,” said OHS Band Director Chad Dean.
