Reserve Champion — Miles Stagemeyer stands with reserve grand champion owned female Nords Lucy 8022. 

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Nearly 800 Angus juniors and their families traveled to Louisville, KY, to compete in the 2019 National Junior Angus Show (NJAS) July 14-20 at the Kentucky Expo Center.

Nords Lucy 8022 won reserve grand champion owned female at NJAS. Miles Stagemeyer of Page owns the February 2018 daughter of Colburn Primo 5153. She first won junior champion-division 6. 

A total of 1,194 entries were shown. 

 

Scholarship Presentations

As higher education costs continue to rise, the Angus Foundation raises the bar on scholarship investment in young people. To help offset the cost of undergraduate and graduate degrees, 90 juniors received scholarships that totaled $226,700 at  NJAS.

Jace Stagemeyer of Page, received the Angus Foundation Undergraduate $3,000 scholarship on July 18 at NJAS Scholarship Presentation. 

Since 1998, the Angus Foundation has awarded more than $2.9 million in undergraduate and graduate scholarships to Angus youth.
