The Eagles didn't have a good homecoming this past week with a 39 point 53-14 loss to West Point-Beemer.
The Cadets ran 46 plays for 17 first downs and had 11 penalties for 90 yards. The Eagles ran 59 plays for 14 first downs and had six penalties for 35 yards. The Eagles scored in the third and fourth quarter.
Mason Walsh threw 24 times for 16 completions and one touchdown. Walsh had one interception.
Turner Jussel had an excellent game carrying the ball 15 times for 88-yards and had six catches for 22 yards. Fabian Acevedo ran the ball nine times for 23 yards and one touchdown.
Keegan Moore caught three passes for 59 yards and one touchdown. Landon Classen two catches for 39 yards; Acevedo two catches for 27 yards; Sean Coventry two catches for 10 yards and Peyton Mathews one catch for eight yards.
Classen led the Eagles in defense with nine tackles; Acevedo nine tackles; Mathews and Jussel five tackles each; Walsh four tackles; Clay Shaw, Salvado Rodriguez, Kendryk Hinton and Korbyn Grenier two tackles each; Moore, Tra Space, Conventry, Levi Drueke, Tucker Shabram and Holden Jenkins one tackle each.
The Eagles will travel to Broken Bow this week to take on the 0-4 Indians.
